Our sole mission is to provide individuals and couples with the best chance for a successful pregnancy and each day we cherish the bonds we form with our patients./ppThe Medical Assistant will be based at our Waltham, MA Boston IVF surgical center and will play a key role in supporting patient care throughout the fertility treatment process. Working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and the multidisciplinary care team in the operating room setting, the Medical Assistant will assist with surgical workflows, uphold sterile technique, support pre- and post-procedure activities, and provide hands-on patient support. This role contributes to the delivery of safe, compassionate, and high-quality care while fostering a supportive and positive experience for patients undergoing fertility-related procedures and treatments./ppSchedule: 40 hours per week (5 days, 8-hour shifts)./pulliShifts are scheduled during regular business hours, with occasional variability depending on operational needs./liliTeam members are scheduled to work one weekend every four weeks on a rotating basis./liliParticipation in the holiday rotation is required, including: olliOne major summer holiday/liliOne major winter holiday/liliOne minor summer holiday/liliOne minor winter holiday/li/ol/li/ulpSpecific holiday assignments may vary based on organizational updates./ppEssential Functions and Accountabilities:/pulliAssist Physicians with surgical procedures/liliFollow proper protocols for all procedures/liliClean exam rooms and equipment per protocol./liliSet up and stock procedure and OR rooms./liliSpecimen collection, processing for in-house and outside laboratories./liliProvide patients with information regarding upcoming procedures and reassurance/comfort before, during and after procedures./li/ulpAt Boston IVF, we have a deep commitment to diversity, equality, and inclusion.
