ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST

Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Position Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for managing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, company credit card reconciliations, payroll support, and monthly accruals, while providing day-to-day support to the VP of Finance. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Process Accounts Payable, including vendor invoices, payment processing, and vendor statement reconciliations Manage Accounts Receivable, including customer invoicing, cash applications, collections, and account reconciliations Reconcile company credit card transactions and ensure proper coding and documentation Prepare monthly accruals and assist with month-end close activities Assist with payroll processing, payroll reporting, and employee timekeeping Support staffing activities, including onboarding paperwork, employee records, and recruiting coordination Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation Assist with financial reporting, audits, budgeting, and other projects as assigned by the VP of Finance Respond to vendor and customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner Perform other accounting and administrative duties as needed Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred 3+ years of accounting experience with AP and AR Experience with payroll processing Understanding of month-end close and accrual accounting Strong Microsoft Excel skills Experience with ERP/accounting software Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills Ability to work independently while managing multiple deadlines High level of accuracy and attention to detail Preferred Qualifications Manufacturing accounting experience HR or staffing experience Inventory accounting experience Experience supporting finance leadership #J-18808-Ljbffr Retail First
