UX Desginer/Architect
Conch Technologies Inc
UX Desginer/Architect
Location: Fully remote anywhere in the U.S.
Preferred long-term hybrid locations: Baltimore, Evansville, Charlotte, Wilmington, or Irving
This is a Senior Product Designer / UX Architect role supporting experience strategy across web and mobile. This is much more than a traditional UX/UI design role. They are looking for someone who can operate strategically across product, design, technology, and business, while helping create consistent experiences across multiple product teams.
The person we find needs to be comfortable taking ownership of complex design initiatives, influencing product direction, working closely with Product and Engineering, and using research, competitive insights, and data to drive design decisions.
A few things I'd focus on when sourcing:
Senior-level Product Designer / UX Designer / UX Architect with strong product experience
Experience working across multiple product lines, platforms, or product teams
Strong background with design systems, platform experiences, or shared customer-facing capabilities
Someone who can think beyond individual screens/features and understand the end-to-end customer journey
Strong Design Thinking and user research background
Comfortable influencing Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders
Experience leading complex programs of work with multiple priorities
Someone who can operate with a high degree of autonomy and ambiguity
Leadership/mentoring experience is important; they want someone who can help elevate the broader design organization
