If you are passionate about supporting student success and mental wellness, an opportunity awaits for dedicated School Psychologists within a collaborative educational setting for the 2026–2027 academic year. This contract role begins August 25, 2026, with a schedule of 37.5 hours each week, and continues through June 11, 2027. Based within a multi-building district, you will play a key role in fostering positive student outcomes.

In this position, your expertise will extend beyond assessments to include direct intervention work, consultation with staff and families, and proactive initiatives to promote a healthy school climate. You’ll work onsite alongside educational professionals, offering meaningful contributions in two of the district’s five buildings. Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Michigan School Psychologist Certification, or eligibility and willingness to obtain Michigan licensure promptly before the contract start (travel-friendly for those ready to secure licensure upon offer)
• Experience working in K-12 school settings is a plus
• Proficient assessment, intervention, and counseling skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration
• Passion for contributing as a resource across diverse student needs
• Commitment to pupil-centered best practices and continuous improvement

Responsibilities:

• Conduct student evaluations, interpreting results for teams and families
• Develop and monitor data-driven intervention plans
• Collaborate with educators on academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support services
• Participate in building-wide initiatives to promote student well-being
• Assist with duties and projects that reach beyond testing and reports
