Step into a vital role supporting student wellbeing as a School Psychologist in a welcoming school district near Warren, MI. This contract opportunity is available for the 2026–2027 academic year, offering a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, from August 25, 2026, to June 11, 2027. You'll collaborate directly with educators, families, and fellow mental health professionals to deliver comprehensive psychological services—including assessments, intervention planning, and promoting positive mental health across up to two school buildings. The district is eager to engage School Psychologists who contribute beyond testing, actively participating in other supportive duties within the school community.

Requirements:

• Hold (or be willing to obtain) Michigan School Psychologist Certification—travel candidates encouraged if able to secure MI licensure promptly upon offer
• Experience in a school environment preferred
• Strong assessment and intervention skills
• Effective communication abilities with students, staff, and families
• Collaborative spirit and flexibility to assist in varied building-based activities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct student evaluations and interpret assessment results
• Develop and implement behavior intervention and support plans
• Work collaboratively to promote positive mental health and learning environments
• Consult with educators, administrators, and families regarding students’ needs
• Engage in building-wide duties supporting the whole child, beyond assessments

You’ll be assigned to 1–2 buildings within a district of five, sharing the caseload with a supportive team of fellow psychologists. This is an onsite-only position, ensuring direct engagement with the school community.
