Bring your expertise in psychological services to a dynamic school environment near Detroit, MI, and make a meaningful difference in students’ lives over the 2026–2027 academic year. This contract opportunity seeks two dedicated professionals passionate about supporting student well-being beyond traditional testing roles.

In this role, you will partner with educators and families to assess student needs, develop impactful intervention plans, and actively foster mental health awareness within the school community. There’s an emphasis on broad engagement—psychologists are encouraged to participate in a wider array of activities within each building, moving beyond just assessment and testing to help build a supportive school culture.

Desired Qualifications:

• Possession of (or eligibility for) Michigan School Psychologist Certification. Candidates willing to obtain MI licensure quickly are welcome.
• Background and experience working in a school setting is highly valued.
• Proficiency in performing assessments, developing interventions, and conducting student support services.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with diverse groups of students, educators, and families.

Role Highlights:

• Onsite position requiring your presence at one or two assigned buildings (2 elementary schools, and/or 1 middle/high school building; district covers 5 total buildings among 3 psychologists).
• Approximately 37.5 hours per week over the full school year, from 8/25/26 through 6/11/27.
• Engage in both assessment and broader school community wellness initiatives.
