Step into an impactful contract role providing crucial psychological services for students during the 2026–2027 school year. This position calls for School Psychologists who are enthusiastic about shaping student well-being in a collaborative, dynamic environment near Detroit, MI. With assignments based across one or two school buildings (from a total of five within the district), you’ll work side-by-side with educators and families to address diverse student needs, extending your work beyond testing to make a broader difference in the school community.

Key Qualifications:

• Michigan School Psychologist Certification, or willingness to quickly secure MI licensure prior to start (support available for out-of-state licensed professionals)
• Previous experience in school settings is highly valued
• Expertise in psychological assessment and developing intervention plans
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Collaborative spirit and a proactive mindset to participate in additional building-wide initiatives

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct student assessments and interpret data to guide educational and behavioral strategies
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Provide consultation and resources to staff and families to foster students’ mental health and well-being
• Support a range of school-wide initiatives and contribute beyond testing tasks
• Maintain thorough documentation while adhering to state and district policies
