Responsibilities

• 
  Monitor market trends, research competitors, and perform market analysis to identify potential growth opportunities.
  
  



• 
  Support the Industrial Sales Director in maintaining existing business and developing new commercial opportunities.
  
  



• 
  Identify, analyze, and manage Tier 2 customer accounts within industrial markets including Oil & Gas, Concrete Admixtures, and Mining Applications.
  
  



• 
  Develop strong relationships with customers to ensure high levels of service, satisfaction, and retention.
  
  



• 
  Work directly with customer plant-level personnel to ensure demand forecasts and delivery expectations are met.
  
  



• 
  Collaborate closely with internal teams including Customer Service, Transportation, Facilities, Supply Chain, and Logistics to support efficient order fulfillment and operational alignment.
  
  



• 
  Coordinate with support functions such as HES, Product Quality & Stewardship, Finance, and Credit to ensure compliance with company policies and product stewardship standards.
  
  



• 
  Prepare and submit weekly reports summarizing sales activities, market insights, account developments, and key performance metrics.
  
  



• 
  Maintain accurate and timely records of customer interactions, sales activities, and opportunities within the CRM system.
  
  



• 
  Continuously develop knowledge of the company's wholesale and operations model to better support customers and internal stakeholders.
  
  

Profile

• 
  Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
  
  



• 
  2-4 years of relevant experience in sales, marketing, or commercial support roles.
  
  



• 
  Experience in industrial, chemical, or commodity-based markets is preferred.
  
  



• 
  Exposure to supply chain, logistics, or operations in a B2B environment is preferred.
  
  



• 
  Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); SAP and Power BI experience is a plus.
  
  



• 
  Basic understanding of chemistry or industrial chemical products.
  
  



• 
  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret market and business data.
  
  



• 
  Ability to learn operational processes and integrate commercial and supply chain considerations into customer solutions.
  
  



• 
  Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  
  



• 
  Strong organizational, prioritization, and time-management capabilities.
  
  



• 
  Self-starter with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
