Job Description Litigation Paralegal
The ideal candidate should possess a background in Personal Injury and Workers Comp focused litigation, be capable of managing assignments from attorneys, type 60+ WPM, and demonstrate initiative while working independently. Attention to detail is essential as the role involves supporting attorneys throughout all phases of litigation.
Responsibilities of the Litigation Paralegal include:

Attention to detail is essential as the role involves supporting attorneys throughout all phases of litigation.
Responsibilities of the Litigation Paralegal include:
- Assisting litigation counsel across all stages of legal proceedings.
- Overseeing the discovery process, encompassing document collection, retention, and production, as well as aiding in drafting responses to discovery requests.
- Drafting fundamental legal documents such as settlement agreements, document retention notices, and response letters.
- Contributing to pre-trial preparations by drafting trial documents and preparing exhibits.
- Prioritizing and executing tasks efficiently and punctually.
- 2+ years of litigation preferred in the areas of Workers Comp and Personal Injury.
- Office management and Transcribing skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent time management and multitasking capabilities.
- Capacity to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with trial presentation software.
