Position The Upfit Technician is responsible for the consistent and quality upfit installations of truck accessories and service repairs on various truck bodies. Responsibilities Completeconsistent and quality installs of truck accessories. Including but notlimited to lift gates, shelving units, toolboxes, body components andlighting systems Completecustom service repairs on commercial vehicles and flatbeds service repairs on truck bodies Documentthe cause and corrections for all repairs Fabricatingcustom mounting brackets Readand follow detailed work orders, installation drawings, blueprints, etc. Qualifications HS Diploma or GED required Experience in aservice shop environment preferred Experiencedwith vehicle mechanics, including electrical systems, hydraulics and basicfabrication techniques PTO experiencea plus Benefits 401K with Company Match Health, Vision & Dental Insurance Life & Disability Insurance Flexible Spending Account Paid Time Off (PTO) Program Paid Holidays Reimbursement for Select Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Why The Shyft Group?
