Our client, a leading organization in the scientific and manufacturing industry, is seeking a Lab Assistant to join their team. As a Lab Assistant, you will be part of the Laboratory Support Department supporting chemical quality control and laboratory operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Lab Assistant

Location: Forest Hills, MI

Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

What's the Job?

• Washing laboratory glassware, pipettes, and equipment to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
• Stocking laboratory supplies and managing inventory of glassware and reagents
• Removing and disposing of expired or hazardous reagents following safety protocols
• Maintaining cleanliness of lab benches and equipment to ensure a safe working environment
• Logging samples and finished products into controlled inventory systems for accurate record-keeping
