About the Role

The Company is in search of an Executive Director to lead its mission of supporting survivors and ending domestic and sexual violence. The successful candidate will be tasked with preserving the organization's valued culture while guiding it through forward-looking change and growth. This role requires a leader who can balance innovation and growth with organizational stability, mission alignment, and the values that have made the organization successful. The Executive Director will also be responsible for managing uncertainty surrounding public funding, grant requirements, and compliance obligations, as well as stewarding and growing critical relationships with funders, community leaders, and stakeholders. The ideal candidate for the Executive Director position at the company will have a genuine commitment to supporting survivors and ending domestic and sexual violence, with a deep understanding of trauma-informed, survivor-centered practices. They should be a highly relational and collaborative leader, with exceptional relationship-building skills and a proven track record of leading and growing teams. A compelling public-facing presence, strategic thinking, and the ability to navigate complex political and funding realities are essential. The candidate should also have strong nonprofit acumen, including an understanding of funding models, grant management, and at least 10 years of senior leadership experience. Adaptability, empathy, and a commitment to fostering a culture of dignity, safety, and respect are key attributes for this role.
