Overview We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Human Resources Specialist to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to impact our organization’s growth by managing essential HR functions, supporting workforce development, and ensuring compliance with employment regulations. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, bringing energy and precision to all HR-related activities. Duties Lead talent acquisition efforts by sourcing candidates through various channels, conducting interviews, and managing applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as iCIMS or Taleo. Oversee employee onboarding and orientation programs to ensure new hires integrate smoothly into the organization. Administer employee evaluations, performance management processes, and training & development initiatives to promote professional growth. Manage employee relations by addressing workplace concerns, facilitating conflict resolution, and fostering a positive organizational culture. Coordinate benefits administration, including health plans, workers' compensation, FMLA leave management, and compliance with OSHA standards. Support HR department operations through data collection, HRIS management (such as Workday or SAP SuccessFactors), and accurate data entry in payroll systems like ADP or Paychex. Assist with strategic planning activities related to organization design, succession planning, affirmative action planning, and workforce management. Qualifications Proven experience in human resources management or HR department roles with a strong understanding of employment & labor law and HR legal compliance. Demonstrated expertise in human capital management, change management, talent acquisition, and project management. Proficiency with HR systems such as Oracle HCM, UltiPro, Kronos, or Dayforce; experience with Excel data analysis is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally and effectively. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in data collection, contracts management, and administrative tasks. Knowledge of benefits administration including workers' compensation and regulatory compliance requirements.
