Bethany Medical Clinic of New York is seeking an experienced Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our collaborative team. This position is based primarily at our Murray Hill location (222 East 31st Street) and our Columbus Circle location (200 W 57th Street) , with occasional travel to our other New York City offices as needed.

What You'll Do:

You'll work closely with our Dermatologist and Dermatology Physician Assistant , assisting with both medical and cosmetic dermatology while also supporting our integrated primary care team.

Responsibilities include:

• Rooming patients and preparing them for examinations and procedures.
• Assisting with dermatologic procedures including:
  • Skin biopsies.
  • Botox® and cosmetic injections.
  • Fillers.
  • VI Peels.
• Performing phlebotomy and specimen collection.
• Obtaining vital signs, EKGs, and point-of-care testing when needed.
• Assisting with COVID-19 testing and other clinical procedures.
• Supporting front desk operations as needed to provide seamless patient care.
• Helping maintain efficient patient flow throughout the clinic.
• Providing exceptional patient service from check-in through follow-up.

What We're Looking For:

We're looking for someone who is:

• Experienced as a Medical Assistant (Dermatology experience is a must).
• Passionate about patient care.
• Organized and able to multitask in a busy clinical environment.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
• Friendly, compassionate, and professional.
• An excellent communicator with strong customer service skills.
• Flexible and willing to travel between office locations when needed.

Office Hours:

• Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM-6:00 PM.
• Friday: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.

• Pay Range: Hourly $21-$25 (commiserate on experience).
