RN Unit Manager – Be the Heart of Skilled Nursing & Sub Acute Care Harborside Health & Rehabilitation, Washington, DC Job Summary The Registered Nurse Unit Manager is responsible for the 24‑hour direction of clinical, operational, and personnel activities of resident care units. The role implements and controls nursing systems on the unit in collaboration with other nursing and multidisciplinary personnel. The RN Unit Manager assists in developing and implementing specific programs, ensures direct nursing care of residents by nursing personnel, and assumes various management duties, including acting ADON in the absence of the DON. Salary and Benefits Rate of pay: $87,360 to $124,015 per year. Sign‑On Bonus: $15,000. Access to daily pay and same‑day wage access. Implement and control nursing systems and protocols on the unit. Assist in developing and implementing specific nursing programs. Ensure direct nursing care of residents by nursing personnel. Act as ADON when the DON is absent. Coordinate with multidisciplinary staff to optimize patient healing and wellness. Maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards. Qualifications Minimum of a 2‑year RN diploma/associate degree; BSN preferred. Current RN license in the District of Columbia. BLS/CPR certification required. Two years’ experience in geriatric nursing. Participation in professional organizations, preferably in geriatrics.
