Project Coordinator

We're hiring: Project Coordinator - Joliet, IL

We are seeking a Project Coordinator to support the City of Joliet's high-profile ERP implementation of Tyler Enterprise Permitting & Licensing (EP&L), formerly known as EnerGov.

This is a 12-month contract with the potential to convert to a direct-hire Product Manager role following a successful implementation.

What you'll do:

Maintain project schedules, task lists, RAID logs, dashboards, and status reports

Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document action items

Support requirements gathering, testing cycles, and data migration

Assist with change management, training, and project communications

Maintain documentation and support project-governance requirements

Partner with vendors, functional leads, and IT teams to track deliverables and resolve issues

Provide coordination support for other IT projects as needed

What we're looking for:

1+ year of experience coordinating or managing an ERP implementation

Foundational knowledge of ERP platforms such as PeopleSoft, Tyler, SAP, or Workday

Strong experience with project-management and collaboration tools such as MS Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, SharePoint, or Asana

Tyler EP&L/EnerGov experience is highly preferred

The work is hybrid, onsite Tuesday through Thursday, with some flexibility

12 months- 18 months, with potential direct-hire conversion.
