POSITION OVERVIEW

The Recruiting Specialist serves as a primary point of contact for job seekers and supports the full candidate experience from initial outreach through screening, interview coordination, hiring-process support, and placement follow-up. The role combines recruiting, customer service, marketing, social media, community outreach, and relationship building. The successful candidate will be energetic, organized, service-oriented, comfortable speaking with new people, and capable of managing high-volume candidate activity while maintaining accurate documentation and strong follow-through.

CANDIDATE SOURCING & OUTREACH

Connect with job seekers through phone calls, text messages, email, social media, and online applications Source candidates through job boards, social media platforms, referrals, and community networking Reconnect with previous applicants and associates to identify new opportunities Maintain a steady pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings Participate in recruiting campaigns, hiring events, and job fairs Support local community recruiting initiatives

CANDIDATE SCREENING & INTERVIEW COORDINATION

Conduct initial candidate screenings Assess candidate qualifications, skills, experience, and career goals Create a positive and professional first impression for applicants Schedule interviews Guide candidates through the hiring process Maintain consistent communication with candidates Keep candidates engaged and informed throughout the process Support onboarding and assignment activities as applicable

CANDIDATE EXPERIENCE

Serve as a trusted resource for job seekers Answer candidate questions professionally and accurately Provide support with professionalism and empathy Maintain accurate candidate records in company systems Create a smooth, efficient, and welcoming hiring experience Follow through on candidate commitments and next steps

RECRUITING & MARKETING SUPPORT

Partner with recruiting, sales, and marketing teams to meet office hiring goals Assist with social media recruiting initiatives Promote open positions through online and local recruiting channels Participate in community outreach activities Attend job fairs, networking events, and local recruiting events Help strengthen employer visibility within the local talent market

TEAM CONTRIBUTION

Collaborate with coworkers to meet recruiting and interview goals Support front-office operations during busy periods Participate in coaching, training, and professional development Stay informed on recruiting trends, employment practices, and local labor-market conditions Contribute to a collaborative, high-energy team environment

BILINGUAL COMMUNICATION
