About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Hours per Shift: 36 or 48 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 1 year recent experience in the specialty area License: Registered Nurse State license or Compact license (No Temporary Licenses accepted) Certifications: AHA BLS or Red Cross Certification Must-Have: - Associate degree in nursing - 1 year of recent experience in the specialty field - Willingness to float to other units and hospitals - Availability for holiday shifts and every other weekend Description: The position requires a nurse to provide care for patients with kidney-related conditions. The unit specializes in both acute and chronic kidney disease management. Responsibilities include post-hemodialysis care and ongoing peritoneal dialysis. Nurses will work in a collaborative environment with nephrologists, family practitioners, and hospitalists to ensure comprehensive patient care. The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:6, supporting a focused approach to treatment and recovery. This role is dedicated to guiding patients through every step of their renal care journey, from diagnosis to treatment and beyond.
