Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 1 year of recent experience in the specialty field License: Registered Nurse license (State of Alabama or Compact license) Certifications: AHA BLS or Red Cross Must-Have: - Associated degree in nursing - 1 year of recent experience in the field of specialty - Willingness to float to other units and hospitals Description: This position is for a Med/Surg Telemetry Nurse specializing in oncology care. The oncology unit is a dedicated space for patients with various cancer diagnoses. Nurses in this area maintain a 1:5 patient ratio and specialize in chemotherapy administration. Our multidisciplinary team includes oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, and support staff. They are skilled, knowledgeable, and committed to providing compassionate care. The team works together to create an optimal healing environment for patients and their families. Candidates should be prepared to work holidays and every other weekend.
