Press Brake Operator

Job Description Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Press Brake Operator role in Vancouver, WA. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC and manual press brake equipment to bend, form, and fabricate metal components according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work orders, and bend schedules. Select appropriate tooling, dies, and machine settings to achieve required dimensions and tolerances. Inspect completed parts using measuring tools to verify conformance to quality standards. Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections to ensure product accuracy and consistency. Troubleshoot equipment and production issues and make necessary machine adjustments. Load and unload raw materials and finished products while ensuring proper handling and storage. Maintain production records and accurately document work performed. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and support continuous improvement initiatives. Report equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, or safety hazards to supervisors promptly. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous press brake operation experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions. Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, tape measures, protractors, and angle gauges. Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Experience with CNC press brake controls is a plus.
