The Beacon Institute for Mental Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in Huntington Beach, California. This full-time remote position offers the opportunity to provide meaningful psychotherapy and case management services within a detoxification center setting. Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individual, group, couples, and family therapy tailored to the needs of each client, utilizing evidence-based interventions.

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to understand client histories and develop client-centered treatment plans that address their unique challenges.

• Regularly monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, employing crisis intervention methods when required.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, LMFTs, LPCCs, and case managers to deliver integrated care that promotes client recovery and well-being.
\n
• Ensure all documentation is completed promptly and complies with legal, ethical, and clinical standards, contributing to seamless care coordination.

• Engage in ongoing consultation during case conferences and clinical meetings to enhance team dynamics and treatment strategies.

• Commit to professional development by staying current with best practices and fulfilling continuing education unit (CEU) requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The population you will serve primarily consists of adults undergoing detoxification from substances, many of whom may also have co-occurring mental health disorders. Our focus is on creating a supportive and empathetic environment that addresses both the psychological and social aspects of recovery. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid and current California LCSW license is mandatory for consideration.

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in clinical or outpatient settings, demonstrating your ability to manage complex cases successfully.

• A strong foundation in trauma-informed care practices and evidence-based methodologies (such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing).

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and experience with telehealth platforms is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, experience working in detox or substance use treatment environments is a significant advantage. Familiarity with client-centered approaches and a solid grasp of the DSM-5 is preferred. Knowledge of the challenges faced by individuals undergoing detoxification will enhance your ability to provide effective support.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range between $90,000 and $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload. In addition to a robust salary, our benefits package includes:
