Hitek Truss has a great opportunity for an Administrative Assistant on our growing team! We are looking for someone who is detail oriented, proactive, and has a positive attitude. We are looking for someone who is bilingual (English and Spanish) to help support the entire location.

The Administrative Assistant is responsible for accurately processing work and sales orders, managing inventory movements, and ensuring timely receiving activities. This position requires a strong attention to detail and consistent tracking of KPI’s using Excel, Bistrack, and Icommand. Success in this role depends on meeting strict deadlines, maintaining clear communication, and confidently supporting all transactions and posted entries.

Primary Role Expectations

  • Processing work orders in Bistrack and Excel
  • Review, record, and report material usage
  • Track and process inventory movements for jobs and report status changes
  • Identify and process delivered jobs and check for accuracy
  • Complete daily reports in Excel to track key company KPI’s
  • Process sales orders

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong ability to work effectively with diverse individuals from management to floor employees
  • 2 or more years’ of administrative experience
  • Proficient in a variety of computer software applications including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Quickbooks experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

  • Job functions are primarily conducted in an office setting; however periodic trips to the manufacturing floor will be required
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 80% of time
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office tools
  • Occasionally moves boxes or supplies, weighing up to 30 lbs.
