As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Flex in Huntington Beach, CA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $22.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Thur: 01:30 PM - 10:00 PM How This Role Works: Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities: Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and actions according to site procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance‑related concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, helping to maintain an orderly residential environment. Communicate clearly with site contacts, residents, visitors, and emergency responders as needed while maintaining accurate daily activity and incident reports. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 2 years of security‑related experience. Possess a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 21 years of age. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
