We’re hiring a Driver Recruiter to join our team at Universal Logistics headquarters in Warren, MI. You’ll play a key role in hiring CDL drivers and other critical positions across our network. If you’re competitive, organized, and comfortable in a fast-paced, high-call environment, you’ll do well here.

This position offers a $40,000 base salary plus the opportunity for bonuses such as our Recruiting Incentive program where you can earn $250 for each CDL Driver hire ! (Average 2-3 hires per week)

Shifts: Full time (45 hours), Monday through Friday 8am-6pm or 9am-7pm

What you’ll do:

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for CDL drivers, dock workers, and support roles
• Source candidates using job boards, databases, and outbound outreach
• Screen applicants and conduct phone interviews
• Make 30–50 outbound calls and handle 15–20 inbound calls daily
• Track candidates and activity in ATS/HR systems
• Keep pipelines full and hiring managers supported

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree (Business, HR, Logistics, or similar preferred)
• Strong communication skills and comfort on the phone
• Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
• Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
• Basic tech skills (Microsoft Office, systems navigation)
• Bonus: experience with Workday, Indeed, Tenstreet
