Job DescriptionBecause this position requires regular on-site work at our Creative Studios in Westlake, Ohio, we will focus on candidates who currently reside in Northeast Ohio. Remote work and relocation assistance are not available for this role.The Product Analyst is responsible for supporting their manager in developing, communicating, and executing annual/multi-year strategic plans for a Celebrations product category (e.g., Greeting Cards, Gift Packaging, Party Goods/Decorations, Stickers, or Stationery). The Analyst will stay in-tune with and ahead of consumer needs, product trends, the competitive environment and margin/cost factors. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:• Supports development of master product catalogue (including size, contents, price mix, and COGS) and collaborates with Occasion and Creative teams to add new items to master catalogue as needed• Responsible for analyzing point-of-sale data, consumer research, retail observations, industry trends, etc., to inform price and format mix within a master catalogue as well as product refresh• Gathers and organizes insights in a manner that guides strategic thinking and retail strategy development • Understands the key drivers of perceived value and cost of goods for assigned category• Responsible for the on-time and accurate delivery of occasion line lists, consisting of documentation of key item-level information• Supports cost management efforts for assigned category• Supports continuous improvement initiatives with a focus on simplificationExperience Required:Experience Required: :Required Length & Type of Experience:• The qualified candidate will have 1+ years of prior retail/consumer product experience, or equivalent internship work, demonstrating ability to support multiple projects in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is criticalKnowledge, Skills & Abilities: • Demonstrates the following Leadership Competencies: Inspirational Leadership, Highly Collaborative, Customer Centric, Accountability, Results Focused, Financial Acumen• Demonstrates the following Category Team Strategic Capabilities: Analytical Skills, Communication/Presentation Skills, Project Management Skills, Consumer Insight, Product Aptitude• Strong PC skills to include excellent knowledge of MS OfficeEducation Required:Bachelors of Science in Business/Marketing or related degree.Please ensure all information submitted in your application is complete and accurate.
