Job Description:

Support internal and external financial reporting, including oversight of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and preparation and review of financial statements and disclosures to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and external reporting requirements
Research and analyze complex accounting issues and transactions under U.S. GAAP and prepare technical accounting memoranda
Lead the month end close and financial reporting (SEC) process.
Collaborate with leadership teams to lead standardization, process enhancements, and automation in accounting processes. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce errors.
Partner with senior leadership to provide insights on financial performance, find and address financial risks, and lead special projects related to accounting and finance.
Lead strategic projects, focusing on standardization, optimization, and process improvement. Implement best practices to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and, leveraging technology and automation tools.
Evaluate accounting implications for significant or non-routine transactions, including revenue recognition, leases, stock-based compensation, business combinations, debt arrangements, and impairments
Lead close improvement initiatives, develop project plans, and coordinate efforts. Oversee the implementation and maintenance of accounting software and ERP systems to improve operations.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
Minimum of 10 years of accounting experience.
Publicly traded (SEC) company or Big 4 public accounting experience.
Knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
Experience ensuring Sarbanes Oxley compliance required.
