Job Description

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator to operate a Kinetic 5000 CNC machine performing precision drilling, milling, tapping, beveling, counterboring, and countersinking on steel plates. This position requires strong technical ability, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality. The operator will set up and program equipment, interpret blueprints and technical drawings, inspect finished parts, and maintain material traceability throughout the production process. This role will also support warehouse operations by safely handling and staging heavy steel materials and optimizing material usage for maximum productivity.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and program the Kinetic 5000 CNC machine to perform precision drilling, milling, tapping, beveling, counterboring, and countersinking operations.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings while producing parts to exacting tolerances and finish specifications.
• Set up machines, monitor tool life and consumables, and use precision gauges and measuring instruments to verify part dimensions and quality.
• Maintain accurate traceability of plate materials and finished parts while maximizing productivity through scrap utilization and material optimization.
• Safely load, unload, and stage heavy steel materials using forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material-handling equipment.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Previous experience operating CNC machinery, preferably CNC plate-processing equipment.
• Ability to perform complex machining operations while maintaining close tolerances and quality standards.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.
• Experience using gauges, measuring devices, and precision instruments.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and the ability to safely operate material-handling equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes.

The base pay range for this position is $23.79 per hour , excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future growth.
