The ideal candidate must have knowledge of conveyors, schematics, forklifts, high-voltage electrical, motors, hydraulics, and general mechanics. This is a hands-on working position.**Essential Functions*** Repair of all equipment, machinery, electrical and power systems, and building systems to insure uninterrupted services and operations.* Recommend and plan maintenance programs and work schedules to minimize equipment “down time.”* Install and repair equipment, and train employees on how to maintain machinery and perform trial run of machinery to ensure performance rates and quality meet established specifications.* Responsible for managing the maintenance service and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, machine servicing and electrical servicing to the facility.* Manage facility layout changes throughout the building, including setting up conveyors, racking, relocating machinery and equipment, etc.* Assures that safety and security measures are established and implemented.* Assist a variety of functions with manual labor tasks as needed including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials.**Additional Responsibilities*** Performs other duties as assigned.**Skills and Abilities*** Strong verbal and written communication skills, Required**Qualifications*** H.S. Diploma/GED, Preferred* Three (3) years to Five (5) years or more in Industrial Maintenance, Required* Three (3) years to Five (5) years or more in Previous experience designing, implementing, and managing a preventative maintenance program., Required* Demonstrated technical knowledge of schematics, battery maintenance, HVAC, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, D.C. Controllers, and A. C.
