COMPETITIVE SALARY & BENEFITS PACKAGE Position Summary: Responsibilities include administering and managing anesthesia as part of the process before, during and after surgery. Evaluates patients and their medical history prior to surgery, including prescription medicine, over-the-counter medicine and herbal supplements. Job Requirement
Education/Experience: M.D. or D.O. from an accredited school of medicine and completion of an Anesthesiology Residency from an accredited institution and three (3) years of clinical practice in anesthesiology. Board Certified/Eligible in Anesthesiology. Licensing/Certification Requirements: Valid License by State of Nevada to practice medicine. State of Nevada Pharmacy Board License to Prescribe Medications and DEA Controlled Substance Registration Certificate. Some positions may require one or more of the following certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association (AHA). Additional Position Requirements
Board Certified in Anesthesiology
Fellowship or Board Certified in Pediatrics is preferred but not required.
