Position Overview:

The Vice President of Product Management and Pricing will lead the development, commercialization, pricing strategy, lifecycle management, and profitability optimization of Mediacom’s mobile products and services. This role will be responsible for translating customer insights, competitive intelligence, market dynamics, and financial objectives into innovative product offerings, bundled solutions, pricing architecture, and promotional strategies that drive subscriber growth, ARPU, retention, and EBITDA contribution.

Reporting to the Group Vice President, Mobile, this leader will partner closely with marketing, finance, sales, customer experience, digital, operations, and strategic vendor partners to develop and manage differentiated mobile products and customer experiences that support Mediacom’s long-term growth strategy.

The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in wireless product management, pricing strategy, go-to-market execution, financial modeling, and lifecycle management within a highly competitive MVNO, cable mobile, or telecommunications environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Author Mobile product requirements and lead the end-to-end development and lifecycle management of mobile products, rate plans, broadband-mobile bundles, add-on services, promotions, and retention offers.
• Develop and execute pricing strategies, discount architecture, customer segmentation strategies, and promotional campaigns that optimize subscriber acquisition, retention, profitability, and lifetime value.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to develop go-to-market strategies, launch plans, channel assortment decisions, merchandising support, and customer engagement programs.
• Translate customer insights, competitive analysis, and market trends into product roadmap enhancements and differentiated customer experiences.
• Serve as the principal relationship manager with Mediacom Mobile’s Mobile Network Operator company and Mobile Virtual Network Enabler company.
• Develop financial models, business cases, and demand forecasts supporting product launches, promotional investments, and strategic initiatives.
• Evaluate pricing elasticity, customer acquisition costs, ARPU, churn trends, attach rates, and device economics to inform strategic decisions.
• Partner with device operations teams to align pricing, inventory strategy, and promotional support for device launches and lifecycle transitions.
• Monitor market dynamics, competitive activity, and emerging wireless technologies to maintain aggressive and profitable market positioning.
• Drive KPI reporting and performance analysis related to subscriber growth, product adoption, revenue, margin performance, and customer satisfaction.
• Support the long-term MVNO and converged services strategy by collaborating with strategic partners, technology teams, and operations teams.
• Ensure seamless customer experiences across digital, retail, field, and call center channels.
• Lead cross-functional prioritization and decision-making processes in a highly matrixed organization.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of progressive experience in wireless, MVNO, cable mobile, or telecommunications product management.
• Proven success developing and launching mobile products, pricing strategies, promotional programs, and bundled service offerings.
• Strong financial acumen with demonstrated experience in forecasting, financial modeling, business case development, and profitability analysis.
• Deep understanding of customer segmentation, pricing architecture, product lifecycle management, and wireless market dynamics.
• Experience supporting device launches, channel assortment planning, and promotional forecasting.
• Strong analytical capabilities with experience using KPI-driven decision-making and performance reporting.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, highly matrixed, and rapidly evolving business environments.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, marketing, finance, telecommunications, or related field preferred.

Disclaimer
