Journeyman Electrician

A successful and growing contracting company in East Canton is seeking a Journeyman Electrician experienced in residential, commercial and light industrial facility applications. This position requires a hard-working and self-motivated individual who can professionally represent the company.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in the Electrical Trade.
• 2-year degree in an electrically related curriculum preferred.
• Working knowledge of national electrical codes, arc flash, and other safety requirements.
• Must have strong communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to professionally interact with customers, vendors and sub-contractors.
• Physical capability to conduct electrical work (e.g., climbing, prolonged standing, kneeling, etc.).
• Hands-on computer skills are a plus.
• Must have an eye for detail and accuracy as it relates to the field.
• Troubleshooting experience in commercial and residential fields.
• Be able to work an occasional flexible schedule.
• Experience in low voltage (voice, data, fire alarm, etc.) is a plus.
• You must be the type that takes the initiative to help get things done even when it's not technically in your job description.
• You won't fit our team if you're "too good" to do something.
• Have a clean driving record.
• Display a high level of personal moral integrity, both in the workplace and at home when it may impact work-related functions.
• Be willing to submit to pre-employment and periodic drug/alcohol screening and / or testing.

Compensation
