Assistant Manager: Freight Flow

Role Overview Assistant Manager: Freight Flow Responsibilities Utilize all company tools and training resources to ensure the team follows freight flow processes, visual execution standards, and stocking routines Coordinate with Store Manager to plan freight processing Validate and maintain all Loss Prevention policies and procedures and inventory management initiatives Maintain and manage stockroom organization and standards Analyze business trends using all available reporting to problem-solve business opportunities and take appropriate action Consistently exemplify, maintain, and foster the culture and values of World Market Support and maintain a safe work environment through ongoing safety training, awareness, and accountability Plan for and execute daily business tasks and duties assigned by and in the absence of the Store Manager Qualifications Proven experience delivering results, customer experience, and operational results in a fast-paced environment Effective communication skills, being open to feedback, and the ability to adapt quickly Ability to provide in-the-moment coaching to associates Ability to de‑escalate store and customer situations effectively Ability to plan and prioritize according to the needs of the business Strong sense of urgency Attention to detail Creative problem solving Sound decision‑making skills Effective delegation and validation skills Ability to execute daily priorities efficiently Minimum of 2+ years of relevant leadership experience in a fast‑paced specialty retail selling culture is preferred Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, overnights, weekends and holidays, depending upon the needs of the business Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, climb ladders, and lift up to 40 lbs. as needed Minimum Age: 21 years Hourly Pay Range $20.92 - $24.92 Benefits Flexible scheduling that supports work‑life balance Up to 30% shopping discount on unique finds for you and your designated shopper Wellness resources Anniversary and recognition programs Hands‑on training for career growth Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits and eligibility details Insurance, 401(k) Savings Plan, Employee Assistance Program and more All associates earn paid sick leave Full‑time associates receive vacation and paid holidays Full‑time employment includes Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescription Drug, Life Insurance, Flexible Spending, Commuter Benefits, and Employee Assistance An Equal Opportunity Employer.
