Senior Family Law Paralegal

As a Senior Family Law Paralegal, you’ll be a true right hand to our attorneys, keeping cases moving, clients informed, and details handled with precision during some of the most sensitive moments of their lives. This is a role for someone who already knows family law inside and out and wants to do meaningful work in a supportive, lower-stress environment with real flexibility. Your Impact In this role, you will: Keep family law cases organized and moving from intake through resolution Free our attorneys to focus on advocacy by owning the documents, filings, and deadlines Be a steady, reassuring point of contact for clients during a difficult time Help shape a positive, collaborative firm culture What You’ll Do: Case Support & Litigation: Draft and manage pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and settlement agreements Prepare cases for depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial, including exhibits and witness coordination Conduct legal research and analysis Maintain organized case files and documentation, both physical and electronic Client Communication: Gather case information from clients and keep them updated throughout the process Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and the court Firm Contribution: Coordinate with attorneys, process servers, and court staff to keep matters on track Support ongoing improvements in process and client experience What You Bring: At least 2 years of recent, hands‑on family law paralegal experience, with family law as your primary practice area, not occasional exposure Demonstrated skill drafting family law pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements independently Strong legal research and writing ability Proficiency with Microsoft Office and standard legal research software Excellent organization, time management, and the ability to manage a full caseload in a fast‑paced setting One day remote every week Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage 401(k) with firm matching, Flexible PTO, paid holidays, and sick leave Ongoing training, mentorship, and career development A collaborative, supportive, team‑oriented culture where your work genuinely matters #J-18808-Ljbffr Hecht Family Law
