Job Description Manage a diverse insurance defense caseload representing insurance carriers. Develop and execute long‑term litigation strategies designed to protect client interests. Conduct fact and expert witness depositions. Work closely with industry, medical, and technical experts to develop case strategy and strengthen defenses. Analyze case issues, assess exposure, and identify practical litigation solutions. Draft and review high‑quality legal correspondence, pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents. Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and internal team members. Manage competing deadlines and maintain organized case files throughout the litigation process. Qualifications 1+ year of New York‑based insurance defense experience required. Active New Jersey and New York bar admissions required. Experience conducting fact and expert witness depositions. Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills. Excellent organization and case management abilities. Ability to manage multiple matters and competing priorities in a fast‑paced litigation practice. Judicial clerkship experience preferred.
