Under general direction of the Supervisor I in the Facilities Management Division, Grounds Office, the Office Technician (Typing) independently provides clerical support and performs sensitive and complex Attendance Clerk (AC) duties and provides Office Technician/Attendance Clerk coverage at all other buildings in Capitol Historic Region as needed.

Special Requirements

• The position(s) require(s) the ability to type at a minimum speed as designated on the Class Specifications (link available in the additional documentation section). You must obtain a valid typing certificate confirming your ability to meet the minimum typing speed, prior to being hired. Additional information regarding acceptable typing tests is available at the CalCareers.ca.gov website.
• The position(s) require(s) a Background Investigation be cleared prior to being hired.

• Employment History on the STD 678 (State Application) must be complete and include employment dates, accurate hours per week, total time worked, duties and responsibilities performed, and contact names and phone numbers of supervisors. License and Certification numbers included on the STD 678 must include issue date and expiration date. Failure to indicate issue and expiration dates will result in disqualification.?Resumes or other documents cannot substitute the STD 678 (State Application). Applicants who fail to submit a completed STD 678 (State Application) may be disqualified. Only the most qualified candidates will be invited to an interview.
