As a Security Officer Entry Verification in Reynoldsburg, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer in a dynamic retail location, helping manage entry points, monitor visitor activity, and support security-related operations with strong customer service and communication. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and help to discourage incidents while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver's license.

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help control authorized access for employees, visitors, vendors, and/or deliveries.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and reporting them through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the sales floor, stock areas, entry points, and perimeter, as location conditions vary by site.
• Assist with crowd management, monitor high-traffic areas, and help to deter unauthorized activity, theft-related concerns, and/or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
