As a Security Officer Access Services in Groveport, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control professional at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, where you will help manage entry activity, monitor assigned areas, and support security-related operations with strong customer service and communication. In this visible role, you will help create a welcoming environment, respond to site needs, and deliver service with teamwork, integrity, agility, reliability, and innovation.

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following site-specific access control procedures, badge verification requirements, and approved entry protocols at a technology-focused location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, check credentials, manage visitor logs, and report unusual activity or access concerns to help support security-related operations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with emergency response activities and communicating with site contacts when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, paying close attention to restricted areas, access points, and other sensitive locations where working conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
