Work Arrangement: On-site / Multiple Naples-area sites
Contract Dates: 5 + months contract with possible extension
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-3:00 PM
Hours: 40 hours/week
Experience Required: 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience

Job Summary:

The Patient Services Representative II (PSR II) serves as the primary point of contact for patients and is responsible for collecting high-quality blood specimens and preparing specimens for laboratory testing. The role requires strong phlebotomy skills, excellent patient service, attention to accuracy, and the ability to work across multiple locations based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draw quality blood samples from patients using established practices and procedures.
• Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collection and processing .
• Verify patient demographic information and initials.
• Obtain patient signature following venipuncture to confirm proper tube labeling and patient identification.
• Ensure specimen labels are accurate and applied in the patient's presence.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Create a professional, trustworthy, and comfortable environment for patients.
• Perform daily activities accurately and within required timelines.
• Maintain a safe and professional work environment.
• Demonstrate confidentiality and accuracy when handling patient information.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
• Work independently with minimal on-site supervision.
• Handle multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.
• Communicate effectively with patients, peers, and supervisors.
• Travel between multiple patient service centers and in-office phlebotomy locations as required.
• Cover different locations with minimal notice based on staffing needs.
• Work weekends, holidays, on-call assignments, and overtime when required.
• Submit mileage for eligible travel between locations.
• Maintain reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent - Required
• 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience - Required
• Experience with pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections - Required
• Ability to perform high-quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong phlebotomy skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours based on staffing requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong customer-service and communication skills.
• Keyboard/data-entry experience.
• Reliable transportation.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record, if applicable.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Medical Assistant or Paramedic training.
• Phlebotomy certification.
• 2 years of Patient Service Center experience.
• Customer service experience in a retail or service environment.

Float Position Requirements:

As a Float Phlebotomist II , the candidate will:

• Travel between multiple Naples-area locations.
• Report to different sites based on daily staffing requirements.
• Arrive on time at the assigned location.
• Be prepared to cover Patient Service Centers and in-office phlebotomy locations with minimal notice.
• Maintain a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
• Submit mileage for eligible travel between locations.
