Automotive Service Advisor

Heritage Toyota is looking for a Service Advisor to join our team! This role is all about building trust and loyalty with our customers while ensuring they have a positive and seamless experience when bringing their vehicles in for service. We’re seeking someone with strong communication skills, a passion for customer service, and a talent for staying organized in a fast-paced environment. Whether you have prior automotive experience or come from a customer service background, we provide on-the-job training to set you up for success. Plus, you’ll be working in a temperature-controlled shop with a supportive team that values growth and excellence. Key Responsibilities Greet customers coming into the service department and determine the nature of customers request. Explain company policies, procedures, products, services, etc. Answer a variety of questions related to car repairs and servicing. Explain labor and parts estimates; investigate customer concerns. Track progress on customers vehicles, and keep customers apprised. Direct customers to cashier, and assist with cashier duties as needed. Follow up with customers after work is done to ensure satisfaction. Use of ADP/CDK software, Tis, Service Edge, Dealer Daily and iPad to complete tasks. Prepare repair orders and customer bill, ensuring that final charges correlate to quotes. Perform a variety of tasks associated with processing warranty claims. Maintain all required logs and records of service department activities. Qualifications: Must possess a high school diploma (or equivalent). One to three years of relevant experience preferred, but willing to train the right person. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. Fundamental computer and administrative/clerical skills. Excellent customer relations skills, including basic sales skills. General technical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance and repair. Must be able to bend, kneel, stretch and stand over, under and next to all repair vehicles.
