Position: Part-Time Payroll-Admin Assistant Reports To: HR Manager Schedule: Part-Time | Non-Exempt Training: We will train the right candidate! What You'll Do Process and manage weekly company payroll and certified payroll from start to finish Review employee timesheets and schedules for accuracy and compliance Maintain payroll records in line with company policies and applicable regulations Support HR functions including onboarding, recruiting, and personnel file management Handle employee payroll inquiries with professionalism and care Assist with employee communications, company announcements, and event planning Collaborate with managers on a variety of special projects Get hands-on exposure to the trucking and transportation industry — every single day! What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent — required Sharp eye for detail and a strong commitment to accuracy Solid organizational and problem-solving skills Clear, professional communication skills — both written and verbal Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel) Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment Eagerness to learn about HR processes AND the trucking/transportation industry Trustworthiness and discretion with confidential information Why V Van Dyke, Inc.?
