Northwell Health is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Sleep Medicine Physician with Board Certification/Eligibility in Pulmonary Medicine to join their Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan, NY. This role offers an opportunity to join a nationally recognized program with a focus on innovative clinical research and patient care. The successful candidate will contribute to a multidisciplinary setting within a large, diverse academic medical center.Practice InfoThe Northwell Health Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine Program has 14 dedicated full-time physicians at Lenox Hill Hospital.The program is nationally and internationally recognized for expertise in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine, with innovative clinical research.Specialized centers include interventional pulmonology, pulmonary hypertension, advanced lung disease, cystic fibrosis, non-CF bronchiectasis, asthma, lung transplant, interstitial lung disease, and sleep medicine.A comprehensive, multicenter lung cancer screening program is headed system-wide by Lenox Hill physicians.Lenox Hill Hospital has ten pulmonary and critical care fellows.The bronchoscope suite and sleep center at LHH are state-of-the-art and recently constructed, with state-of-the-art equipment for interventional procedures.CompensationCompetitive salary and benefits packageAcademic appointment at the medical schoolPhysicians will be employed as members of Northwell Physician PartnersAppointment at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra-Northwell at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor will be provided, commensurate with experience, training, academic portfolio, and teaching activitiesFull-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125,000 to $750,000Sign-On BonusBenefitsTuition Reimbursement: Eligible employees will receive 100% employer-paid tuition expenses towards a master's degree from Hofstra University.Those attending another university will receive $5,000 annually in reimbursement toward qualified tuition expenses.Northwell Health is a qualifier for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program (PSLF) under federal student aid.Parental LeaveRequirementsBE/BC Sleep Medicine PhysicianBC/BE in Pulmonary MedicineSuccessful completion of Sleep Medicine Fellowship training program at an ACGME accredited programSuccessful completion of prior Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship at an ACGME accredited program, with board certification / eligibilityExperience with PSG/HST interpretation and reportingEffective communication and teaching skills with ability to work in a multidisciplinary setting
