Marketing Coordinator

The Marketing Coordinator will support the execution of integrated marketing initiatives designed to drive attendance, revenue, and brand awareness across WCS's Zoos and Aquarium. This role will assist with campaign coordination across paid media, social media, email marketing, partnerships, events, and creative development while helping ensure projects are executed efficiently and on schedule. This is an ideal opportunity for an early-career marketing professional looking to gain hands-on experience across multiple marketing disciplines in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Major Responsibilities:

Campaign Execution

• Support the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns promoting exhibits, attractions, events, memberships, and seasonal programs.
• Assist in coordinating campaign timelines, deliverables, and internal approvals across multiple stakeholders.
• Help manage marketing calendars and ensure deadlines are met across projects.

Digital Marketing Support

• Assist with digital advertising campaign setup, trafficking, and coordination with external media agencies.
• Support website updates and content management for promotional campaigns and seasonal initiatives.
• Help monitor campaign performance and compile reporting on key marketing KPIs including attendance, revenue, engagement, and return on ad spend.

Social Media & Content Coordination

• Support social media campaign planning and execution in partnership with internal teams and external agencies.
• Assist with content gathering, creative asset organization, and coordination for photography/video shoots.
• Creation of social reels/video used on Instagram and TikTok.
• Help maintain consistency across brand messaging and campaign execution.

Partnerships & Promotions

• Support execution of promotional partnerships, cross-promotions, influencer activations, and community marketing opportunities.
• Assist with event logistics related to marketing activations and seasonal programming.

Administrative & Project Support

• Organize marketing assets, presentations, and internal documentation.
• Assist with competitive research and identifying new marketing opportunities.
• Provide ad hoc support across the marketing team on projects related to driving visitation and enhancing guest experience.
• Create and manage in-park signage requests.
• Manage in-park monitor creative rotation.
• Create and manage video/photo requests.
• Manage monthly promo code requests (submission & QA).
• Support day-to-day administrative needs of the marketing team as needed.
