Vice President, Tax

A growing alternative investment platform is seeking a Vice President, Tax to lead compliance across its private credit fund complex - a high-visibility seat with direct exposure to fund leadership and a mandate to modernize tax operations.
You'll work closely with Fund Accounting, Legal, Investor Services, and Investment teams, as well as external advisors, owning complex domestic and international tax matters end-to-end. What You'll Own:- End-to-end fund tax compliance - federal and state filings, K-1 distribution, and all related reporting
- Review and oversight of work prepared by external tax advisors
- U.S. withholding tax compliance, including Forms 1042, 8804, 1099, FBAR, and related filings
- Non-U.S. tax filings and international tax matters across multiple strategies
- FATCA/CRS reporting, fund formations and dissolutions, blocker corporations, and tax provisions
- Investor tax inquiries and responses to taxing authority notices
- Process improvement and automation initiatives - you'll have real latitude to modernize how tax operations run
- 6+ years of Big Four and/or asset management tax experience
- Experience supporting Private Credit investment funds
- Strong command of partnership taxation, international tax reporting, and withholding tax compliance
- Advanced Excel skills and genuine interest in automation and AI-driven solutions
- Clear, confident communicator who thrives in a cross-functional environment
