About the Role

The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President for a pivotal role in leading the corporate accounting function with a focus on strategic oversight and technical expertise. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with US GAAP, SEC regulations, and global accounting standards, as well as managing a high-performing team and driving process transformation for enhanced financial transparency. Key duties include acting as a liaison with external and internal audit teams, overseeing intercompany accounting, and global consolidations, and implementing new FASB/SEC standards. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams for tax planning and capital market transactions, and presenting financial results to senior leadership. Applicants must have a Bachelor of Science in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in corporate accounting or related roles. A preference is given to those with 12 years' experience, particularly with leadership and technical accounting expertise. Proficiency in US GAAP, SEC regulations, and global accounting standards is essential, as is experience with ERP systems, preferably Workday, for process optimization. The role requires strong skills in financial reporting, consolidations, and intercompany accounting, as well as the ability to manage and develop high-performing teams across global locations and expertise in SOX compliance and control framework implementation.
