Contract Recruiter

Location: Remote (Must be able to attend onsite training in Orange County, CA during the first week) Duration: 3-Month Contract with Potential for Extension Pay Rate: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour About the Role We are seeking an experienced Recruiter to support hiring efforts for a growing manufacturing and distribution environment. This position is primarily remote; however, candidates must be available to attend onsite training in Orange County, California during the first week. Following the training period, the role will transition to a fully remote schedule. The ideal candidate will have full-cycle recruiting experience, strong partnership skills with hiring managers, proficiency with applicant tracking systems (ATS), and prior experience working with staffing agencies to support hiring initiatives. Key Responsibilities Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and presenting qualified candidates. Partner closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, define candidate profiles, and develop recruiting strategies. Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for a variety of positions within manufacturing and distribution operations. Utilize ATS platforms to manage candidate flow, track recruiting activity, and ensure data accuracy. Coordinate interviews, candidate communications, and offer processes. Collaborate with external staffing agencies and recruiting partners to support hiring goals and workforce planning. Track recruiting metrics and provide regular hiring updates to leadership and hiring teams. Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. Maintain compliance with company hiring practices and employment regulations. Required Qualifications 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience. Previous recruiting experience within manufacturing and/or distribution environments. Experience partnering directly with hiring managers on recruiting strategy and talent acquisition efforts. Experience working with staffing agencies and third-party recruiting partners. Strong sourcing, interviewing, and candidate assessment skills. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
