Human Resources Generalist

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Generalist with a focus on payroll to join our team on a contract basis. This is a high-priority role ideal for a junior-to-mid-level HR professional with strong ADP payroll experience and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Responsibilities Process weekly payroll using ADP, including reviewing and correcting timesheets Generate and analyze standard and custom payroll reports Track and manage union dues manually Administer monthly expense reimbursements Assist with payroll-related projects and process improvements Ensure accuracy and compliance with all payroll processes Qualifications Strong attention to detail and solid numerical aptitude Hands-on experience with ADP payroll systems Knowledge of multi-state payroll compliance and required legal postings Familiarity with EEO-1 or CRD (DFEH) reporting Understanding of Workers' Compensation and leave laws (CFRA/FMLA) Experience with LinkedIn Learning platforms is a plus Prior experience in a union environment is highly desirable Location: Burbank, CA Duration: 3+ months (Maternity Leave Coverage) Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Compensation: $30-$35/hr All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
