Business Unit Controller

This position is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the business unit, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing strategic financial insights to support business decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience in a similar role within a corporate environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the monthly close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Analyzing financial data to identify trends and provide insights for business planning and decision-making.
• Collaborating with other departments to provide financial support and guidance.
• Preparing and presenting financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Proven experience as a Business Unit Controller or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
