This role oversees the architecture, delivery, and operations of Enterprise Integration platforms ensuring seamless connectivity across the enterprise systems, trading partners, and cloud ecosystems. The Senior Manager leads cross-functional teams, manages vendor relationships, ensures operational excellence, and drives innovation in integration technologies to support our digital transformation and business agility.RESPONSIBILITIESStrategic LeadershipDefine and own the global integration strategy encompassing middleware, APIs, cloud-based platforms and EDIAlign integration initiatives with enterprise architecture, business priorities, and digital transformation goalsLead technology evaluations and roadmap planning for platforms such as IBM ACE, API Connect, iPaaS solutions and SAP BTP Integration SuiteOrganizational LeadershipLead and mentor global teams including Middleware Architects and Integration AnalystsFoster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement across integration functionsEstablish governance frameworks for integration architecture, standards, and complianceEnsure integration platforms comply with internal security policies, SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley), and global data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)Architecture & Solution DesignArchitecture & Solution DesignArchitecting and implementing enterprise-grade solutions using IBM Cloud Pak for Integration (CP4I), App Connect Enterprise (ACE), and API ConnectOversee the design and delivery of end-to-end integration solutions across ERP, CRM, PLM, and cloud platformsEnsure scalability, performance, and security of integration architecturesPromote adoption of microservices, APIs, and event-driven architecturesOperations & Service ManagementEnsure high availability, reliability, and performance of middleware platforms.Oversee incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous service improvement.Define and monitor operational KPIs and SLAs to ensure service excellence.Collaborate with the Cybersecurity team to ensure integration platforms meet security, compliance, and data protection standards.Define and track KPIs to measure the business impact of integration initiatives, such as transaction accuracy, partner onboarding time, and system uptime.Vendor & Partner ManagementManage strategic vendor relationships including contract negotiations, renewals, and performance reviewsDefine and monitor SLAs with service providers and ensure alignment with business expectationsApprove vendor invoices and collaborate with Procurement and Finance on cost optimization and complianceForecasting & Cost ManagementDevelop and manage annual budgets for integration services, tools, and vendor contractsForecast resource needs and technology investments to support business growth and transformationMonitor and report on cost performance, identifying opportunities for savings and efficiencyPartner with Finance to ensure accurate financial planning and alignment with corporate objectivesInnovation & EvaluationContinuously evaluate emerging technologies and integration trends to enhance our capabilitiesLead proof-of-concept initiatives and pilot programs for new integration tools and platformsDrive modernization of legacy systems through cloud-native and API-first approachesQUALIFICATIONSTen or more years of experience in Enterprise Integration including a strategic senior leadership roleProven expertise in middleware platforms (IBM ACE, Sterling), and cloud integration (SAP CPI, API Connect)Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, SOA, microservices, and API managementExperience leading global teams and managing cross-functional stakeholdersExcellent strategic thinking, communication, and vendor management skillsExperience with iPaaS platforms and hybrid integration strategies preferredFamiliarity with Agile, DevOps, CI/CD practices preferredAutomotive or manufacturing industry experience requiredAbility to work onsite in Troy, MIWHY JOIN US?Grow with purpose.
