Temporary ReceptionistWe are seeking a professional, friendly, and dependable Temporary Receptionist to provide front-office coverage while a team member is on leave. This individual will serve as a first point of contact for callers and visitors while also providing general administrative and office support.The ideal candidate is punctual, organized, engaging, and willing to assist wherever needed to help keep the office running smoothly.Reception & Visitor SupportAnswer the main phone line in a pleasant and professional manner.Transfer incoming calls to the appropriate individuals or departments.Greet, register, and log visitors upon arrival.Ensure visitors receive appropriate passes or credentials as required.Maintain a welcoming and professional front-office environment.Mail, Packages & DeliveriesReceive and distribute incoming mail, packages, and deliveries.Coordinate outgoing mail and packages as needed.Maintain accurate logs for incoming and outgoing items when required.General Office & Administrative SupportProvide basic administrative support, including copying and scanning documents.Assist with maintaining and restocking the break room and coffee area.Help with general office organization and miscellaneous administrative needs.Provide assistance with meetings, employee activities, and other office events as requested.Remain flexible and willing to assist the team with additional responsibilities as needed.QualificationsPrevious receptionist, front desk, customer service, or administrative experience preferred.Punctuality and reliability are essential.Professional and pleasant demeanor with strong basic office etiquette.Clear, professional telephone communication skills.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Engaging personality with a willingness to help others.Ability to communicate professionally with employees, visitors, vendors, and callers.Comfortable operating a multi-line phone system.Basic computer skills required.Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency is not required, although experience with Microsoft Office or other business applications is a plus.Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate takes pride in creating a positive first impression and understands the importance of being dependable in a front-office role.
