Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Rethink Counseling Center, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Providing direct patient care through comprehensive evaluations and personalized treatment plans that adhere to established goals and patient needs.
• Utilizing evidence-based practices to implement therapeutic interventions that maximize patient recovery and function.
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress while adapting treatment methods to meet changing clinical needs.
• Collaborating with other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and optimize treatment strategies.
• Educating patients and their families about therapeutic exercises, techniques, and preventative care to facilitate better health outcomes.
• Upholding the highest standards of ethical care, in compliance with the New Jersey State Practice Act and the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) Code of Ethics.
• Participating in regular team meetings and case discussions to share insights and strategies for enhancing patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of patients across all age groups, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations. Your expertise in orthopedic physical rehabilitation will be essential as you evaluate and treat conditions ranging from post-operative recovery to chronic pain management. You will take a holistic approach to physical therapy, considering each patient's unique circumstances and goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• Current licensure in the State of New Jersey as a licensed Physical Therapist is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years of practical experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating proficiency in delivering high-quality physical therapy services.
• Strong understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation and evidence-based practice.
• Exceptional communication skills to effectively convey treatment plans and motivate patients.
• A compassionate approach that inspires trust and encourages patient engagement.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum requirement is 2 years of experience, candidates with extensive experience in managing complex orthopedic cases and who possess additional certifications in specialized therapy fields will be given preference. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth practices is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to base pay, employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
